I used those a sign in the nature park and a pattern from a restaurant's table. I merged them together. Then used a brown color for the basic. I opacity tool to lower the opacity of the basic color and the texture image. For my "winter" photo, I link a text to the image, it make the text can transparent . Then add a blue layer and a white layer for the foundation. And between the basic color layer i add to rectangle.

My photo tone is white. Because all around Rexburg is snow. I think white is the very good color for this season. But i didn't make the white be the main color on my picture. I only use white for the theme or black ground. I like more color in the photo. I used red, black or yellow in the middle, but not big size for the photo.
I adjusted a little on the color, to make the color have more contract. One photo I took during my friend blowing the snow. I used the aperture priority to take this picture. And then use blur the black ground but keep the middle sharp. And gradient the edge.
